Sitting here tonight, in the rain, when it should be snowing! Going into Thanksgiving weekend I am reminded of how thankful I am to live in Alaska and be a part of the community that we belong to. We live in an amazing part of the world; we have clean air, clean water, beautiful trees, mountains and oceans (and sometimes snow). We have warm, genuine people to interact with and share life with, and a safe place to raise our children. I love Alaska!
Here’s to Wasilla, Palmer, Eagle River and all the surrounding areas – Happy Thanksgiving!
Be warm and be safe.
